HUB – At least 17 people were dead and over 50 injured after a truck carrying pilgrims fell into a ravine in Hub, the fourth largest city in Balochistan, on Wednesday.
Police and locals are making efforts to rescue those who are trapped in the ravine while rescue teams are shifting injured and bodies to hospitals.Hub DPO says the tragic accident was the outcome of reckless driving. Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti has issued directives for providing the injured with best medical facilities.
The injured were transported to nearby hospitals, while the deceased were transferred for identification purposes.
