During the meeting, the Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif emphasized the importance of privatization, stating that the Government's role is not to run businesses but to create a business-friendly environment and provide facilities and ease to investors. The meeting was briefed on the progress of privatization, including the pre-qualification process for PIA, which is expected to be completed by the end of May.
