Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed satisfaction on the positive trajectory of relations between Pakistan and Azerbaijan specially in trade, investment, energy and security domains. He expressed these views in a meeting with foreign minister of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov who called on in at Prime Minister House Islamabad.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed satisfaction on the positive trajectory of relations between Pakistan and Azerbaijan specially in trade, investment, energy and security domains.
In the meeting both sides stressed to further strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields. The Prime Minister felicitated Foreign Minister Bayramov on Baku’s selection as the host city for COP29 to be held in November 2024 and said that Pakistan would work closely with Azerbaijan to ensure the successful outcome of this important event.
On this occasion the Azeri Foreign Minister thanked the Prime Minister for receiving him and briefed him on the discussions held between the two Foreign Ministers earlier today.
