Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has said Pakistan will issue china’s panda bonds as early as June to further integrate its Capital Markets with China’s.
In an exclusive interview with the South China Morning Post, the Finance Minister said Pakistan had followed Egypt’s lead to issue the yuan bonds on the back of credit improvement from the Beijing-Led Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank.
Muhammad Aurangzeb, who is in Hong Kong to attend the Asian Financial Forum, pledged more cooperation with Beijing on the next phase of the China–Pakistan Economic Corridor. He also called for more participation from China’s Private Sector and Export-Led Industries to transform Pakistan’s Debt-Laden Economy.
The Finance Minister said Pakistan aimed to raise 200 million dollars to 250 million dollars from Chinese investors, adding that it was “absolutely critical” for the nation to diversify its funding base.Pakistan Television Corporation is the Pakistan state-owned Television broadcaster, founded on 26 November 1964. This National Broadcaster has flourished since then, and today has PTV-Centers in Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Quetta, Muzaffarabad, AJK and Multan.
