Caretaker Interior Minister Sarfaraz Bugti gave a deadline to all Illegal foreigners to voluntarily leave the country by October 31st

ISLAMABAD: Caretaker Interior Minister Sarfaraz Bugti on Tuesday gave a deadline to all Illegal foreigners in Pakistan to voluntarily leave the country by October 31st or the law enforcement agencies will deport them on November 1st.

There is no country in the world which allows foreigners to enter on any other document then visa but unfortunately, our country is the only one where anyone can come without a passport or visa, said the minster adding that after November 1st, no person, resident of any other country, will be able to enter Pakistan without passport and visa.

This e-Tazkira will be computerized after which paper Tazkira will not work and after the deadline passport and visa policy will be applicable for them too, said the minster. In such a situation, the appointment of an expert military officer as Chairman NADRA is a welcoming step said the minister adding that those involved in illegal issuance of identity cards will also be brought to justice soon.He said that NADRA has a family tree in which it is possible that any one of us can enter the family tree and become a Pakistani citizen.

This was announced by Caretaker Interior Minister Sarfaraz Ahmed Bugti while briefing the media persons about the decisions taken at an important meeting of the Apex Committee chaired by Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-Ul-Haq Kakar In Islamabad today. Army Chief, Civil and Military officials and other concerned authorities attended the meeting. The Interior Minister said foreign nationals languishing illegally in the country are being given a deadline of November 1st to leave Pakistan voluntarily. He said all the state law enforcement agencies will be mobilized to take action against the illegal foreign nationals and they will be deported after 1st of November. Sarfaraz Ahmed Bugti also announced that all illegal properties and businesses being run by these illegal nationals will also be confiscated after November 1st. He said action will be taken as per the law of the land against any of the Pakistani citizens if he is involved in the illegal businesses and making huge properties by these illegal foreign nationals. The Minister said a task force has also been constituted at the Interior Ministry to launch and monitor these actions. He said safety and security of the people of Pakistan is the prime responsibility and foremost priority of the government.
