IHC granted bail to Bushra Bibi against surety bonds worth 1 million
PESHAWAR – PTI founder Imran Khan ’s wife Bushra Bibi arrived in Peshawar after being released from Adiala Jail in the Toshakhana-II case on Thursday.
PTI Secretary General Salman Akram Raja announced on the social media platform X that Bushra Bibi will stay in Peshawar instead of Zaman Park in Lahore. Earlier, Bushra Bibi was released from Adiala Jail after Islamabad High Court granted her bail in Toshakhana case a day ago. An accountability court of Islamabad issued orders for her release after a delay of more than 24 hours as Senior Special Judge Central Shahrukh Arjumand and Special Judge Central-2 Hamayun Dilawar “went missing” on Wednesday after the IHC ordered her to be set free.Bushra Bibi’s lawyers reached Administrative Judge Jawad Abbas but he also left the court.
