The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Pakistan rose to 3,658 on Monday after new infections were confirmed in the country. These include 1,816 cases
in Punjab, 932 in Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 405, Balochistan 198, Gilgit-Baltistan 210, Islamabad Capital Territory 82 and Azad Kashmir 15.
Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Health Dr Zafar Mirza on Monday took to Twitter and thanked the people of Pakistan and God for bestowing him with the honour of playing his part in Pakistan’s fight against coronavirus. Under the package, more than twenty-five thousand persons will be given ration packs in the first phase. He said an endowment fund was also set up with 600 million rupees to combat against Corona threat.
