Coronavirus has become a threat to global health system: President
ISLAMABAD – President Dr Arif Alvi on Thursday said that coronavirus has become a threat to global health system and massive efforts are required to deal with the dangers posed by the virus.
He also underlined that there should be more exchanges between medical and health professionals of both countries to chalk out strategies to effectively contain the spread of such epidemics in future. The Chinese medical experts thanked government of Pakistan for inviting them and helping them share their experiences in dealing with the aftermath of coronavirus. They also lauded the swift efforts of the government of Pakistan that led to the containment of the virus.increased to 4,414 after 248 new cases were reported during the last 24 hours. According to the data available with the National Command and Operation Centre, five more deaths were reported within 24 hours, soaring the toll to 63.
