This is the latest incident in a series of cases where smugglers have been caught using travellers and Umrah pilgrims to smuggle mobile phones into the country.During the search, customs officials recovered mobile phones of different models from the family's luggage. The value of the seized mobile phones is estimated to be Rs20.74 million.
Three members of the family were arrested on the spot and a case was registered against them under the Customs Act.
