As per chief minister’s orders, all educational institutions, including private and public schools, colleges, medical colleges, technical and vocational institutes and universities, will remain closed for the next three weeks.
“All exams to be held in the next three weeks have been postponed. All tuition centres and seminaries will remain closed for the next three weeks and only foreign students of seminaries will be allowed to stay in hostels. All marriage/banquet halls and marquees in the province will remain closed and all religious gatherings and ceremonies have been postponed for the next three weeks. Jashan-e-Baharan and other festivals in the next three weeks have been cancelled.
“A ban has been imposed on meetings with prisoners in jails for the next three weeks. Similarly, a ban has been imposed on any type of public gatherings for the next three weeks. The information department will run an effective media campaign in consultation with the Primary Healthcare Department. will be played without spectators and all concerned departments will take effective measures and issue guidelines for compliance with the above-mentioned orders. The chief minister’s orders will come into force with immediate effect,” says a handout issued here.
