Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Gandapur, has approached the Islamabad High Court seeking relief in cases registered against him during the November 26 protest at D Chowk in Islamabad. The petition seeks the removal of terrorism provisions from the case or a halt to the proceedings.
Islamabad: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur approached the High Court regarding the cases registered against him during the D Chowk protestCM KP Ali Amin Gandapur has filed an application in the Islamabad High Court for relief in the cases registered on November 26 protest in Islamabad, in which the SHO Police Station Secretariat and the state have been made a party by the Advocate General Islamabad.
In petition, it has been decided that the provisions of terrorism should be removed from the case registered on November 26 on the D Chowk protest or the proceedings on the FIR should be stopped.
