Darren Gough appointed Lahore Qalandars head coach
– Lahore Qalandars has appointed England’s former pacer Darren Gough as new head coach ahead of Global Super League , which is set to commence on November 26.
The Pakistan Super League franchise made the announcement on social media, stating as: “We are beyond excited to announce that cricket superstar Darren Gough is joining Lahore Qalandars as our new Head Coach”.The development comes after Aaqib Javed stepped down from the position to assume responsibilities in Pakistan Cricket Board selection committee.
On the other hand, Gough said it was an honour for him to join Lahore Qalandars. “I have already assisted the franchise in Players Development Programme.
