ISLAMABAD - The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee is all set to meet today for the sighting of Shawwal-ul-Mukarram moon, Dunya News reported.
Esteemed members from various institutions, including the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Pakistan Meteorological Department, and the Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission , will attend the meeting.

Is ilan ke baad, Islami mahine ka hilal dekhne ke liye dono central aur zonal Ruet-e-Hilal committees ki ek jamaat ne Peshawar mein ikhtiyaar kiya. Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad ne Peshawar mein Central Ruet-e-Hilal committee ki baithak ka ahtemam kiya, jabki Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP) zonal moon-sighting committee bhi wahi jagah par ikhtiyaar ki gayi. Karachi, Islamabad, Lahore aur Quetta mein bhi zonal committees ki milti julti baithakein saath saath hui. Isi dauran, Ramadan pehle se hi duniya ke kuch hisson mein shuru ho chuka hai, jaise ki Middle East aur Europe. Australia, Malaysia, Philippines aur Brunei jaise kuch deshon ne official taur par 12 March ko Ramadan ka aagaz karar diya hai. Oman ne bhi 12 March ko Ramadan ka aagaz tasdeek kiya hai, kyunki chand nazar nahi aya tha Ravivar shaam ko.
