Federal cabinet delays decision to ban PTI, invoke Article 6 against PTI leaders founder Imran Khan, former president Dr. Arif Alvi, and ex-deputy NA speaker Qasim Suri.
During a federal cabinet meeting in Islamabad, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif condemned PTI’s propaganda against Pakistan’s armed forces, stating it will not be tolerated. Expressing serious concerns about the recent increase in terrorist activities in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Prime Minister suggested these acts are part of an organized conspiracy.He mentioned the involvement of the TTP in these attacks and declared that terrorism from a neighboring country is unacceptable.
Previously, the federal government had announced its intention to ban PTI and initiate Article 6 proceedings against Imran Khan, Dr. Arif Alvi, and Qasim Suri.
