Questions how imposing new taxes will reduce inflation
KARACHI - Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Emir Hafiz Naeemur Rehman, has criticized the budget 2024-25, stating that it victimised the salaried class while feudal provided concessions.
He pointed out that inflation was rampant across the country, lamenting Shehbaz Sharif's statements that inflation has shrunk from 38% to 12%, questioning where the relief was. He also questioned the state of government hospitals and criticized the lack of new projects in Sindh's development budget, calling for more developmental projects for Karachi.
