In all 12 persons, including five children, were killed in Balochistan in different monsoon rains-related incidents such as lightning, roof and wall collapse since June 9, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
The PDMA has said Dera Bugti bore the brunt of these rains where two people lost their lives while 25 were injured there. Similarly, it says that crops grown over 312 acres of land and 19-kilometer-long roads were also badly affected. “As many as 106 cattle also lost their lives due to lightning and other factors,” the report reads.
Similarly, rain in Mohenjo Daro and outskirts came as a pleasant surprise for the heat-stricken locals who at last heaved a sigh of relief.
