FM arrives in China on official day-long visit
BEIJING – Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi arrived in China for an official day-long visit.
Pakistan’s Ambassador in China Moeenul Haq, along with officials from the Chinese foreign ministry received Qureshi at Hannan airport. Prior to his departure, the foreign minister had recorded a video message to discuss the purpose of the visit. “I had a discussion regarding the China visit with Prime Minister Imran Khan yesterday [Wednesday]. Our delegation will convey the vision of Pakistan’s political and military leadership,” the minister said in the message.
“I hope my meeting with Chinese foreign minister Wang Yi will prove beneficial for both countries,” he added.
