ISLAMABAD - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Barrister Gohar said that the statement of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Advisor Barrister Saif related to India n Foreign Minister Jaishankar was reported out of context.He added that PTI always followed the Pakistan ’s stance and policy related to India .“The police fired tear gas on our workers contrary to the democratic values,” he said.
The PTI chairman said that he didn’t join the protest at D-Chowk as it was the party policy that MNAs would not join the protesters in the wake of parliament’s upcoming session to avoid the arrests.He expressed a desire for the Indian minister to participate in PTI's protests, suggesting that he attends their protest aiming to restore democracy and constitutional order in Pakistan.
He argued that Jaishankar's participation would strengthen Pakistan and improve relations between the two countries. The statement had sparked severe criticism on social media, with users accusing Barrister Saif of openly acting against national interests.
