PESHAWAR: Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur called upon the judiciary to swiftly decide the cases against Imran Khan, the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf , emphasizing a fair decision based on merit.
Gandapur alleged that the former prime minister is being unjustly detained with fabricated charges, which are intentionally prolonged to prolong his incarceration. He accused this tactic of aiming to weaken Imran Khan’s resolve and his political movement, asserting that such efforts will be unsuccessful.
Gandapur highlighted Imran Khan’s role in galvanizing national consciousness through his movement and urged the judiciary to expedite the cases and deliver impartial judgments. Criticizing the federal government, he accused it of usurping the people’s electoral mandate and fostering authoritarianism within the country.
