Deputy PM Ishaq Dar to represent Pakistan at Iranian President's oath-taking ceremony: PM's meeting with Commonwealth Secretary-General Patricia Scotland also cancelledDue to illness, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will not attend the inauguration ceremony of the Iranian President, 24NewsHD TV Channel reported on Tuesday.
The sources said a scheduled meeting with Commonwealth Secretary-General Patricia Scotland was also postponed because of his poor health condition. The sources in the Prime Minister's House said in the absence of PM Shehbaz Sharif, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar will lead the Pakistan delegation at the oath-taking ceremony of the President-elect of Iran Dr Masoud Pezeshkian.
