Showers are expected from August 14 to August 16, with regions in Punjab, such as Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Murree, Attock, and Chakwal, likely to experience rain and strong winds. The forecast extends to areas including Lahore, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Narowal, and Sargodha, among others. From August 15 to August 18, isolated thunderstorms with strong winds are predicted in southern Punjab, impacting cities like Bahawalpur, Multan, Dera Ghazi Khan and Rahimyar Khan.
A low-pressure system in northwestern India is projected to move towards central Pakistan, carrying significant moisture from the Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal. Additionally, a westerly wave is expected to approach the upper regions on August 15.
