October 24, 2024 10:15 AMNine terrorists including a high-value target and two would-be suicide-bombers were killed by the security forces in a fierce gunbattle fought in Bajaur District, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Sanitization operation was carried out to eliminate any other Kharji found in the area, as security forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe out the menace of terrorism from the country, said the ISPR statement.Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has lauded the efforts of the security forces for carrying out a successful intelligence-based operation in the Bajaur region.
He further expressed deep admiration for the courage and dedication of the personnel involved. “We salute the security personnel who brought these terrorists to a dreadful end. Their relentless efforts have not only ensured peace in the region but have also set an example of how such extremist threats will be dealt with in the future,” he added.
