Deputy Commissioner of District Central, Karachi has announced holiday in all public and private educational institutions on Thursday
KARACHI: Deputy commissioners of Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas, Badin and Matiari have announced holiday for all private and public educational institutions in their respective districts in view of expected heavy rainfall.
Earlier, deputy commissioner of District Central, Karachi announced holiday for all public and private educational institutions on Thursday but later the notification was cancelled. And all educational institutions will open as usual on Thursday. Sindh Education Department spokesperson has said that the district administrations have decided on their own to deal with any expected emergency situation.
Earlier, the school education and literacy department of the Sindh government has announced that there will be local holiday in the province owing to heavy rainfall across the province. In a notification issued today , the Sindh government stated that any district experiencing heavy rainfall may announce a local holiday during the ongoing monsoon season.
