Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif met the members of the Pakistan Hockey Team who performed best in the Azlan Shah Hockey Cup and announced a prize of Rs 3o million for the team.
The Chief Minister Of Punjab said that good news from the National Sports Grounds is a source of pride, congratulations to the National Hockey Team and the organizers from Quaid Nawaz Sharif and Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif.
PM Shehbaz Sharif said for the improvement of hockey, all kinds of support including financial support will be provided to the national team. Provincial Sports Minister Faisal Ayub Khokhar said that the national team won the hearts of the entire nation by playing the final after 13 years and winning the silver medal. Punjab Government is following the vision of Chief Minister Punjab for the promotion of sports.
