A delegation from the All Parties Hurriyat Conference met with President Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Dr. Muhammad Najib Khan, to discuss the current state of affairs in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The meeting addressed Indian state actions, human rights violations, and the internationalization of the Kashmir issue, with the president reaffirming the right to self-determination for the Kashmiri people.
A high-level delegation from the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC), led by Convener Ghulam Muhammad Safi, met with President Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Dr. Muhammad Najib Khan to discuss the deteriorating situation in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

The meeting focused on Indian state actions, reported human rights abuses, the plight of Hurriyat leaders and activists, and the ongoing efforts to bring international attention to the Kashmir conflict. President Khan reiterated the AJK government's stance that the Jammu and Kashmir dispute is an internationally recognized issue and must be resolved in accordance with the aspirations of the Kashmiri people and the relevant United Nations Security Council resolutions.
He emphasized the importance of granting the Kashmiri people their right to self-determination to decide their own future. The president also commended Pakistan for its consistent political, diplomatic, and moral support to the Kashmir cause. Dr. Khan strongly condemned the unilateral actions taken by India on August 5, 2019, stating that these measures could not alter the disputed status of Jammu and Kashmir or infringe upon the Kashmiri people's right to self-determination.

He called upon the international community to investigate the human rights situation in IIOJK and urged the United Nations to fulfill its commitment to the Kashmiri people by ensuring the implementation of necessary resolutions.
