PTI chief asks for home-cooked food over fears he can be poisoned through jail food
PTI Chairman Imran Khan has demanded an open court trial in the cipher case, according to the insider reports from today’s hearing in Adiala Jail.
According to sources, during Tuesday’s hearing, Imran Khan sought permission to be provided home-cooked food over fears he could be poisoned through the jail food. “The food here is not reliable; my life is at risk,” he is reported to have told the judge. During the hearing, Shah Mahmood Qureshi complained about an aggravating back pain. At this, the judge asked whether he had been provided a mattress that he had ordered earlier. If the mattress has been provided, then now he could order for the provision of a charpoy.
