Imad, who last played for Pakistan in May 2023, announced his retirement from international cricket in November of the previous year. “I think what we saw in the last few games, it was spinning, holding a bit, the thing I did well was to bowl really slow, it was gripping and it went well,” Imad commented at the post-match ceremony.
It’s important to note that Islamabad United beat Quetta Gladiators by 39 runs. This victory led United to the second Eliminator where they will face Babar Azam’s Peshawar Zalmi tomorrow at the same venue.The Gladiators struggled during their chase of 175 runs, falling short by 39 runs. Islamabad’s bowlers dominated the game from the start, preventing the Gladiators from making a comeback.
