An Indian plane made an emergency landing at Jinnah International Airport (JIAP) of Karachi on Saturday’s morning after a passenger’s health deteriorated, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. The Indian plane was going to Jeddah from News Delhi, when the captain was alerted about the medical situation of a passenger.

The Indian plane was going to Jeddah from News Delhi, when the captain was alerted about the medical situation of a passenger. The pilot contacted Karachi Airport’s air control tower and sought permission for emergency landing. The control tower immediately granted permission to the Indian plane for landing. The sick passenger was immediately provided first-aid and after improvement in his health condition the plane was allowed to resume its journey.
Earlier in October 2024. an Indian flight traveling from Ahmedabad, India to London faced an alleged bomb threat, prompting swift safety actions by air traffic controllers in India and Pakistan. Upon receiving the bomb alert, the Indian air traffic control tower contacted Pakistan’s Karachi region air traffic control to assist in handling the situation which was provided immediately to the Indian pilot through voice communication.Reporter: Khursheed Rehmani
