offering bonuses for publishing Reels, Instagram has introduced new tools to help creators analyze their short-form video performance.Instagram has added a “View Rate” metric, which shows the percentage of followers and non-followers who continue watching a Reel after the first three seconds. The platform highlights that these initial moments are crucial for capturing audience attention.
Another new feature, “Views Over Time,” allows creators to compare their Reel’s performance with their average view count over a similar timeframe. This data also provides insights into views from followers versus non-followers. Additionally, Instagram will offer more actionable insights, helping creators determine whether their content is performing above or below average.To further assist creators, Instagram will now suggest making more Reels similar to high-performing videos, helping them refine their content strategy.
