Ishaq Dar called for a comprehensive review of Israel’s UN membership in response to what he described as horrific atrocities in Gaza.
On Sunday, Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister
He stated that Israel’s continued aggression endangers peace in the Middle East and urged the UN and the international community to take swift action. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s steadfast support for Palestine and praised the efforts of the Arab League and the OIC to bring peace to the region.In his speech, Dar suggested that Arab and Islamic countries should work together more closely, proposing the appointment of a joint envoy to ensure the implementation of resolutions from recent Arab-Islamic summits.
Dar also thanked Saudi Arabia for hosting the new Global Coalition to Implement the Two-State Solution, calling it a key step toward Palestinian independence and a two-state solution.
