Mairaj has had enough of being compared with Nawazuddin Siddiqui
- It is normal for actors to come across their doppelgangers. Or, to make it more casual, they, sometimes, are compared to the works of another actor.Now, the latest - except it is not because it has also popped up on social media many times - example is the comparison between Saleem Mairaj and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
In a recent interview, the actor was reminded, almost umpteen times, of the similarities between himself and his Indian counterpart when a viewer brought up the subject yet and asked, "Do you find it a compliment or an unnecessary comparison?" After an almost an endless wait, he finally spoke, "I think I have been asked this more than 200 times."
And I have to tell you, I just don't get it. I don't see the resemblance, and I don't understand the comparison.""Once, I was at the passport office, and these two women were in the line near me," he started, and continued, "They had just watched Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
