Popular Indian rapper Hirdesh Singh, popularly known as Yo Yo Honey Singh has lately spilled beans regarding his personal life and divorce from ex-wife Shalini Talwar, claiming that it was his extreme addiction to money and fame which played a lot in distancing him from ex-partner and family members.
In an interview with The Lallantop, the singer revealed that the initial 9-10 months of their marriage were good, but his success and addiction pushed him away from his family. He also admitted that he did terrible things back then, almost leaving and forgetting Shalini. In his words:"Our relationship wasn't very good at that time. There was distance between us because I was travelling a lot. For the initial 9–10 months of our marriage, things were good.
"Few names, few very big and influential names. They had teased me. I was so badly addicted to these substances that I was always high. Most of the time, I was unaware of myself and my surroundings.
