ICC World Cup 2023, Warm Ups: Netherlands Vs Australia Match Abandoned Due To RainICC World Cup 2023 warm up match between Australia and Netherlands abandoned due to rain in Thiruvananthapuram. Earlier, match reduced to 23 overs per side due to rain and wet outfield. Batting first Australia scored 166 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 23 overs. Steven smith remained top scorer with 55 while Cameron Green made 34 and Mitchell Starc hit unbeaten 24. For Netherlands, Logan Van Beek, Roelof Van Der Merwe and Bas De Leede took two wickets each. In reply Netherlands were 84 for six in 14.2 overs when rain once again stopped play. Colin Ackermann was unbeaten on 31. For Australia, Mitchell Starc scored hat-trick. Meanwhile the other warm up match between India and England also washed out due to rain in Guwahati.
