The ICC World Cup trophy was displayed at Badshahi Mosque and Minar-e-Pakistan
The trophy started its journey from the host India on June 27. It has travelled to Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, the USA, the West Indies, Bangladesh, Kuwait, Bahrain, Italy, France and England. As many as 10 teams will vie for the most coveted cricketing tournament which will be played in India from Oct 5 to Nov 19. The World Cup will be played in a round-robin format with all teams playing against each other for a total of 45 league matches.
The top four teams will qualify for the semifinals which will be played in Mumbai on Nov 15 and in Kolkata on Nov 16.
