The Islamabad High Court (IHC) disposed of the petition filed by former prime minister and PTI founder Imran Khan seeking court orders to the Adiala Jail officials to arrange his telephonic talk with his sons, medical checkup from a family doctor and his meetings with the party leaders, along with instructions.

The superintendent replied that all types of facilities, which were provided to B-Class prisoners, had been provided to the former prime minister. “The petitioner has been given the facility to read two newspapers and watch 16 TV channels. He has also been given a cook.” The superintendent further said that prior to Imran’s wife Bushra Bibi was handed a prison term in the Al-Qadir Trust case, she was allowed to meet her husband in the jail. “And now when she is a convict along with her husband, we will again arrange their meetings,” he added.
