IHC acquitted Sanam Javed in four cases, including one filed by FIA, and granted bail in the remaining eight cases
ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb on Thursday acquitted Sanam Javed in four cases, including one filed by the Federal Investigation Agency , and granted bail in the remaining eight cases.
Advocate Mian Ali Ashfaq Ali apologized to the court on her behalf and assured that she would be more cautious in the future in response to Justice Aurangzeb’s remarks about her use of harsh and improper words. Sanam Javaid has been involved in legal troubles for months, facing multiple arrests related to the May 9 riots that erupted following the arrest of former prime minister and PTI founder Imran Khan in a graft case, which led to the vandalism of several military installations.On Monday, Javaid received significant relief when the high court ordered her release and barred the police and other law enforcement agencies from arresting her until Thursday.
