Pakistan Bar Council has scheduled a meeting on February 26 to elect a new member

LAHORE - A member of the Judicial Commission, Akhtar Hussain , representing lawyers in the appointment of judges to higher courts, has resign ed from his position.

In his resignation letter, Akhtar Hussain stated that the Pakistan Bar Council had nominated him as a member of the Judicial Commission of Pakistan three times under the constitution, and he had performed his duties to the best of his abilities.
