The police in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa swung into action against terrorists’ hideouts in border areas of the province after a string of terror attacks jolted the already fragile law and order situation in the region, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The police officials have vowed to continue the cean-up campaign until the destruction of last terror have in the province.The KP police thwarted a terrorist attack on Gambela Police Station near Lakki Marwat late Sunday night. Heavy exchange of firing between police and terrorists lasted for 15 minutes after which all the terrorists managed to escape from the scene. No loss of life was reported by the KP police.
