PESHAWAR: A delegation of transgender met Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Haji Ghulam Ali at Governor House.
In the meeting with the governor, the transgender delegation informed the community about the problems and also put their demands before the governor.
The delegation demanded that cemetery space should be allocated for transgenders in the city and the scholars should agree to conduct our funerals. On the demands of the delegation, the governor said that it is very important to solve the issues of graveyard and funeral for transgenders. Governor assured that he will raise the issues of transgenders with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the federal government.
