PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Apex Committee, led by Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, has decided to seek a judicial inquiry into the Bannu incident.
The Apex Committee emphasized that while peaceful protest is a constitutional right, it is essential to adhere to the law and code of conduct. The statement further noted that the people of Pakistan, along with its army, police, and other defense agencies, have worked hard to eradicate terrorism. The morale of officers and troops has been affected by unfair criticism of government institutions during this period.‘No operation in KP’ “The military leadership clarified that no operation is being carried out in the province, and action against terrorist elements will be taken by the police and CTD,” the statement read.
