Bollywood star Kareena Kapoor has responded to the petition following the controversial title of her pregnancy book, ‘Kareena Kapoor Khan's Pregnancy Bible’, which also sought a ban on the sale of the book.
On August 27, 2024, Kareena Kapoor finally responded to the legal notice issued to her a few months ago. According to several media reports, the actress' lawyers, Divya Krishna Billaiya and Nikhil Bhatt, appeared before the court to clarify that Kareena never intended to hurt any religious sentiments or offend any community.
Previously, Christopher Anthony, who is also a social activist from Jabalpur, had stated in his petition that the word 'Bible' is the holy book of Christianity all over the world."The Bible is the holy book of Christianity all over the world, and it is wrong to compare Kareena Kapoor Khan's pregnancy with the Bible," he added. However, his earlier petition was rejected by the court as he failed to prove how the word 'Bible' was offensive in Kareena's book.
