Kashmiris on both sides of the Line of Control and the world over are observing the Indian Independence Day today as Black Day today.
Kashmiris observe the day to convey the message to the international community that India continues to deny them their inalienable right to self-determination. The day was marked with a complete shutdown in the Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir on the call given by the veteran Hurriyat leader, Syed Ali Gilani, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference, the Mirwaiz Umar Farooq-led Hurriyat forum and supported by almost all Hurriyat leaders and organizations.
Like every year, in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, August 15 is being celebrated as India’s Independence Day. This is the second black day after the amendment of Article 370 and its sub-clause. Every wall of the occupied valley will be liberated. The Kashmiris across the world are holding anti-India demonstration in front of Indian embassies to draw the world attention towards the Indian brutalities in the occupied territory.
