LHC summons Punjab IG to seek details of cases against Aleema, Uzma Khan
LAHOIRE – The Lahore High Court on Tuesday summoned Punjab Inspector General of police Dr. Muhammad Usman in case seeking details of all cases against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Founder Imran Khan’s sister Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan.
At the outset of the hearing, the government’s counsel demanded time from the court for providing details of the cases against the PTI founder’s sisters on which the court interjected and denied any further time while summoning the Punjab IG in the next hearing.It must be noted that the PTI founder’s nephew had approached the court, pleading that Khan’s sisters were on a physical remand in a case lodged against them in Islamabad while suspecting they might be arrested in any other case.
