Parts of Karachi received light rain and drizzle on Saturday morning amid hot and humid weather gripping the port city for over a week now, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
It was cloudy but at the same time extremely hot and humid in the city early in the morning, while the Met Office forecast more monsoon rains for the city and other parts of Sindh during the next 24 hours. The level of humidity stood at 73 per cent while breeze was blowing from a north-easterly direction at the speed of 13 kilometers per hour.At a time when the people of Karachi are already braving extreme heat and humidity, hours-long loadshedding in several parts of the city is testing the people’s patience.
