The three-day visit will start on September 21 in Wilmington, Delaware.On his last day in the US, Modi will speak at the UN’s Summit of the Future.Narendra Modi will participate in the Quad Leaders’ Summit hosted by US President Joe Biden and attend the UN’s Summit of the Future in New York during his upcoming visit to America, according to the Ministry of External Affairs.
Misri added that the leaders would also address health security, climate change, critical and emerging technologies, maritime security, and counter-terrorism. Modi is expected to hold bilateral meetings with Biden, Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, and Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese on the sidelines of the Quad summit. This will be the fourth leaders’ summit of the Quad, a four-state strategic security dialogue aimed at countering China’s growing assertiveness in the Asia-Pacific region.
On his last day in the US, Modi will speak at the UN’s Summit of the Future, where world leaders will address current and emerging global challenges. India’s foreign ministry has not confirmed whether Modi will meet with former US President Donald Trump during the visit, despite the Republican presidential nominee announcing it on Wednesday.
