Credible sources have confirmed that Pakistan’s left-arm pacer, Mohammad Amir, will not be joining the ODI squad for the upcoming white-ball
series against Australia in November.
Rumors had circulated about Amir’s return to the 50-over format, with reports suggesting that the Pakistan Cricket Board had approached the 32-year-old pacer regarding his availability.In Amir’s absence, Pakistan is set to deploy a powerful bowling lineup, which includes Shaheen Shah Afridi, Naseem Shah, Haris Rauf, and Mohammad Hasnain.
Amir last represented Pakistan in an ODI in 2019 against Sri Lanka, after which he focused on T20 leagues worldwide.
