Dense fog and smog continue to prevail across many cities in Punjab, KP and Including Multan, which recorded the highest levels of fog, and Lahore, where visibility is severely reduced.
Following motorways have been closed due to the hazardous conditions, In which M1 Charsadda to Akbarpura, M2 Lahore to Kot Sarwar, M3 and M4 also reamin closed along with Sialkot Motorway. M5 has also been shut down. In light of the continuing dangerous weather conditions, the Lahore High Court has ordered that all markets in Punjab close by 8:00 PM starting immediately.Flight schedule has also been affected due to the worsened condition of smog.
