LAHORE - Nine newly appointed additional judges of the Lahore High Court took their oath of office on Monday.
Lahore High Court Chief Justice, Justice Aalia Neelum, administered the oath in a simple yet dignified ceremony held at the court’s central lawn. Registrar Abher Gul Khan conducted the proceedings. Senior judges, including Justice Shujaat Ali Khan and Justice Ali Baqar Najafi, along with court officials, attended the ceremony.
The judges who took the oath included Justice Hassan Nawaz Makhdoom, Justice Malik Waqar Haider Awan, Justice Sardar Akbar Ali, Justice Syed Ahsan Raza Kazmi, Justice Malik Javed Iqbal Venice, Justice Muhammad Jawad Zafar, Justice Khalid Ishaq, Justice Malik Muhammad Owais Khalid, and Justice Chaudhry Sultan Mahmood.
