National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayad Sadiq has declared Parliament Lodges as sub-jail for ten detained PTI lawmakers, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Following the Speaker’s production orders, ten arrested members of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf arrived at the National Assembly for the second consecutive day on Friday. The arrested members were handed over to Acting Sergeant at Arms Farhat Abbas upon their arrival at Gate No 5 of the Parliament House. Yesterday, all the MNAs remained in Parliament until late at night, with dinner provided to them by the Speaker.
They were handed over to the acting sergeant-at-arms Farhat Abbas at the Parliament’s gate no 5 where security men were standing alert.
