New York City Governor Kathy Hochul has declared a State of Emergency as flash flooding wreaks havoc across NYC.
Torrential rain pummelled the northeastern US and as per the latest reports from the US media, Brooklyn is particularly hard hit by rising water.A severe storm with unprecedented amount of rains lashed the NYC and parts of upstate New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. It is reported that rain with between two and five inches having already fallen in some areas since midnight.
